Now that 2023 has come to an end, we wanted to take a moment look back on all the great things our organization and our members did this past year as a part of the River North Design District (RNDD). Thank you to everyone who supported small businesses this year. Your support did not go unnoticed.

We Gained New Members
We ended the with a total of 94 members and 27 of those were new members who joined in 2023. We Celebrated 10 Years with a New Logo, a Commemorative Photo Collection, and a Party
On Friday, June 2nd, 2023, we celebrated RNDD’s 10 year anniversary at Oscar Isberian Rugs’ River North showroom. It was an epic party with costumes, great food, great drinks and awards recognizing those members who have been with us since the beginning and those who have been our biggest supporters over the past 10 years. We cannot thank you enough for all you have done for our organization.
In celebration of RNDD’s 10 year anniversary, RNDD commissioned photographer Roberto Lopez to capture the River North Design District in photos. The result is a collection of 10 photos the vibrant, creative and urban community that we call home.
We Held 4 Big Events and Raised Money for a Great Cause
We held 4 big events this year including 2 design focused workshops, one on Branding with Carrie Lannon and a panel discussion on color with Sherwin-Williams, our 10 Year Anniversary Party, and the Gallery Walk.
And to end the year strong, a who’s who in the Chicago design and art communities gathered for our 8th Annual River North Design District Fall Gallery Walk to view vignettes designed by Chicago’s top designers as they showcased living settings highlighting artwork created by some of the brightest stars in the art world today. It was our biggest and best turnout yet with over 1,000 attendees and we raised $8,000 for our philanthropic partner, DIFFA Chicago. Thanks to everyone who came out to support us and save the date for next year: Friday, September 6th, 2024.
