From the architectural foundation to the final layer of custom drapery and furniture, Joy and her team oversee every facet of a project, delivering stunning results on time and within budget.

Joyful Designs Studio has earned nationwide recognition, with projects spanning the United States, including historically significant homes like one once owned by the legendary Duke Ellington. Rooted in artful expression, each project is a reflection of Joy’s passion for textiles, exquisite objects, and bold individuality. Her work is deeply personal, thoughtfully curated, and uniquely reflective of each client’s lifestyle.

In 2023, Iconic Homes of Black Interior Designers featured her studio in their definitive volume, and most recently, Joy was honored on Luxe Magazine’s Next In Design list.
