A Multi-Functional Space
A working mother required a multi functional space to study, work and accommodate her two daughters reading addiction. Taking advantage of the main walls large span, the design team at Milieu created a mid-century modern library with a contemporary twist. See more here.
The Perfect Desk for Small Spaces
Roll is a compact and feminine desk, deigned by Mario Ferrarini for Ligne Roset, boasting both broad and fine strokes. Constructed from natural varnished walnut-veneered multi-ply, its base is in Epoxy satin black lacquered steel. A cable port at the rear allows passage for cables. See more here.
Custom Built-Ins with a Touch of Luxury
This was a labor of love for a favorite client and mom of two grown daughters. It also happens to be the one room that interior designer, Donna Mondi of Donna Mondi Interior Design (DMID), won’t forget. DMID was given full latitude on the design and when it came to creating this home office space – they went all out on combining lush texture and bright colors to make it comfortable, cozy and functional— but with an edge. DMID partnered with Paoli Woodworking to create the built-in custom cabinetry that beautifully frames the room. To further enhance the space, the cabinetry was painted the same color as the walls in #homburggray by Sherwin Williams. This gorgeous blue-green teal shade helps give the built-ins a seamless connection to the room.

A Modern Home Office with a Hidden Entrance

A Double Duty Home Office
When Scott Dresner of Dresner Design remodeled his Gold Coast Townhome, he decided to design a large home office on the first floor to run his business from. He wanted the office to also serve as a showroom of sorts to showcase a variety of cabinet styles he could demonstrate for clients. He incorporated file drawers made of Wenge veneer and upper cabinets designed with stainless trim and 3m acrylic inlays. A large, solid wood, white pickled oak unit houses Scott’s cabinetry samples, and the pop-art wallpaper infuses extra color and energy into the space helping to fuel Scott’s creativity on a daily basis.
