The River North Design District (RNDD) is excited to welcome Chicago interior design firm, Bellehaven Designs Inc., to our organization.

Bellehaven Designs Inc. believes that their clients are way too interesting to live in a boring home. Their interior design firm is about celebrating beautiful soul-nourishing homes with ease to help busy professionals find more joy and less overwhelm in their home.

About the Designer

Stephanie Sarris, Principal Designer at Bellehaven Designs, developed her passion for interior design by creating a refuge in her own apartment from the hectic world of her career – at the time – in corporate training and development. When she began to receive many compliments on how comfortable people were in her space, she decided to explore this new passion and was able to turn it into a new career.

Stephanie fell in love with how the right furniture and colors could transform cookie-cutter spaces into welcoming homes. And the power of a comfortable home to serve as a strong foundation for going out into the world focused on achieving business dreams, unencumbered by nagging little details about messes at home.

Stephanie has gone on to have her work published in several magazines and newspapers and has received awards such as the ASID IL 2021 Design Excellence Award, First Place in the category of Kitchen by a Small Firm.

The Design Process

Planning Meeting / Introduction to explore our wish list and budget
Design Phase where they provide clear and detailed drawings and samples
Contractor Phase in which they share their list of fully vetted professionals to give you peace of mind
Project Completion does not end once the project is completed. Bellhaven remains “on the job” to ensure any last details are resolved
