Some key takeaways from the night included:

The concept of natural light as a motivator. We’re more productive under bright, white light and more relaxed under warm tones that mimic sunset. Designers are now starting to apply these principles to their designs. When natural light isn’t an option, many designers change existing incandescent or fluorescent lighting to LED. Today’s vast selection of LED lighting solutions allows us as designers to allow Natural Light into the built environment and influences our overall wellness where we live and work.

Home automation is a major trend. Designers are now – more than ever – using smart home technology in new construction projects to control lighting and the ambiance of the home. (i.e. custom schedules, lighting controls working in tandem with other smart home controls like shades, music, home security, etc.)

Thanks to everyone who came out and joined us!
