French Inspiration from Oscar Isberian Rugs

With the upcoming RNDD Pecha Kucha Night answering the question “How does travel inspire design” we’ve been interested in the influence of other cultures in Chicago’s design community. Modern Luxury’s Interiors 2016 Winter issue featured a spread titled “French Twist” highlighting a beautiful rug from RNDD member, Oscar Isberian Rugs. French inspired designs are made all over the world. Many of which can be found in the Oscar Isberian showroom, designs featuring the traditional Aubussons and Savonneries , the damask pattern, and the “French Blue” hues. We’re sharing the four french inspired rugs we love, bon appétit!
