Interior Designer Donna Mondi Launches Capsule Collection

Acclaimed interior designer and River North Design District (RNDD) member, Donna Mondi, of Donna Mondi Interior Design, is thrilled to announce the launch of her highly anticipated capsule collection. The seven-piece collection, dubbed EnVie, launched in June 2018 and is available for purchase via the firm’s website.

Throughout her 20-year career, Donna has curated a vast list of resources to make her visions a reality – from local artisans to one-of-a-kind pieces to antique galleries and high-quality furnishing manufacturers across the world. Incorporating a variety of fabrics and luxe accents, EnVie is a reflection of Mondi’s unique design aesthetic that is a fusion of European Classicism with American Modernism, along with an element of surprise. Her style is influenced by a long love affair with European architecture and furniture design along with 20th-century American style from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modern.

Donna’s approach infuses interiors with elements of different periods and styles to create timeless, unpredictable surroundings. Her designs are about layered textures, avant-garde elements, and edgy styling resulting in an unexpected balance. The individual pieces in the EnVie collection are named after royal mistresses including King Henry IV of France’s Charlotte and Gabrielle and King Charles VI’s Odette.

“After much hard work, I’m thrilled to be launching my very first capsule collection. As a designer, I always try to find the most unique products to match my client’s needs, but also represent my style. This collection was created out of a desire to provide a truly elevated experience for my most discerning clients and I’m thrilled to make it widely available.”

The EnVie capsule collection has been a passion project of Mondi’s for many years. In 2001, Mondi established her firm out of a desire to create five-star experiences for her clients. Over the years, she has worked with a wide variety of discerning clientele from professional athletes to Fortune 500 C-level executives. Her signature style and reputation for creating environments that reimagine the possibilities of spatial design quickly caught the attention of media and city-based clients alike, resulting in an expansion of services to include custom pieces where possible. After years of interest from clients, she formally launched her EnVie capsule collection in summer of 2018.  We are now anticipating the next round of the EnVie collection.
