At RNDD, our members make up the most creative community in Chicago. Which is why we welcomed our newest member – Beige – with open arms.
Beige is a showroom in Chicago that specializes in refurbished refinished and reimagined vintage furnishings and antiques.

A Chicago Furniture Store that Celebrates Color
Once you set foot inside their store, you will immediately notice they are full of color. Their goal is to make color and pattern more accessible, less intimidating, and get people to embrace the bold. And so, the concept of Beige was born.
They celebrate color, and maximize it. They showcase color to its fullest potential, bringing styles, eras, and forms together with color.

Save a Couch. Shop Refurbished.
Quality is something you can see and feel. It can’t be faked, and it doesn’t come in the form of particle board. While mass production may be cheaper for the end product, the costs to our environment and communities are much greater. Trades such as carpentry, upholstery, and sewing are rapidly becoming a lost art. By purchasing a refinished piece you are helping to keep these trades alive and local for our communities.
One couch refurbished, is one couch less in a landfill. Many of the fabrics sourced by Beige are vintage, remnants, or “end of bolt” yardage. The quality is still top notch, but too much still makes its way to the landfill.

Pick a Color, Any Color (Except, Well You Know)
What inspires you? What makes you happy? What’s your favorite color? Share with Beige your favorite painting, blouse, or vase and they will work with you to customize a full room to match, or source additions to coordinate with your current décor. Have a piece with good bones? Beige can give old pieces a new life with fresh upholstery.
