4th Annual RNDD Gallery Walk Preview – Part 1

Now in its 4th year, the River North Design District (RNDD) Fall Gallery Walk will return on Friday, September 7th, 2018. The RNDD Fall Gallery Walk is free and open to the public with the exception of two special events (more information here).

Each participating showroom will be exhibiting designer vignettes from Chicago’s top designers as they showcase living settings highlighting artwork created by some of the brightest stars in the art world today. Showrooms will have extended hours during the event on September 7th until 9pm. The vignettes will be exhibited until October 9th.

We have some really amazing collaborations in the works for this year and wanted to share a sneak peek with you.

The night kicks off with “Make your Mark,” the Official RNDD Gallery Walk Kickoff Party. Chicago artist Linc Thelen will be doing live art on site and inviting attendees to participate in this one-of-a-kind piece of art. The final piece will be donated to Designs for Dignity after the event. Tickets are $30/each, and space is limited, so get yours now!.

The official RNDD Fall Gallery Walk After-Party: PROjECT .interiors + Studio41 presents Not All That Glitters… an after-party that matters. Transport back to the Studio 54 “daze” with sultry sounds, liquid enhancements + revelry at every turn. Matte, luster, glitter, gold — adorn + flow into the night with a special guest performance you won’t want to miss. Experiential art installations by Eric Gushee + Amanda Morrison. Xiaofei’s work, using Chinese paint and pencil on rice paper, speaks about both the fragility and the strength of the relationship between women, emphasizing the ephemerality of relationships. Join us at 7pm on Friday for a glass of wine and a viewing of contemporary dancers by candlelight.
