4th Annual RNDD Gallery Walk Preview – Part 4

Now in its 4th year, the River North Design District (RNDD) Fall Gallery Walk will return on Friday, September 7th, 2018.  The RNDD Fall Gallery Walk is free and open to the public with the exception of two special events (more information here).

Each participating showroom will be exhibiting designer vignettes from Chicago’s top designers as they showcase living settings highlighting artwork created by some of the brightest stars in the art world today. Showrooms will have extended hours during the event on September 7th until 9pm.  The vignettes will be exhibited until October 9th.

We have some really amazing collaborations in the works for this year and wanted to share a sneak peek with you.

Arthur Meyerson’s “Water Wall, Tokyo (2016)” photograph will be on display at Orizzonti’s River North Showroom. Capture and celebrate how people, water and light co-exist by designing a vignette that compels RNDD visitors to photograph themselves with the art and the bathroom fixtures. Friday will feature cocktails + hors d’oeuvres starting at 6pm, and enter to win a signed copy of Arthur Meyerson’s book! Music and dancing from 8-9pm. Saturday will feature a virtual reality design presentation and mini spa treatments from 11am-4pm while enjoying mimosas and brunch bites. And be sure to visit The Rangefinder Gallery September-October where Arthur Meyerson will be showing an exhibition of his photographs.

Adam Siegel on Exhibit at The Golden Triangle

330 North Clark St. Chicago, IL 60654

Four of Chicago’s most talented design firms – Kelley Audrain & Cookie Weber of Inside Job, Brian Snow of SemelSnow Interior Design, Donna Mondi of Donna Mondi Interior Design, and John Cialone for Tom Stringer Design Partners – will each select a piece from Adam Siegel’s considerable body of work to pair with a specific interior design scheme. The paintings will be arranged to show how artworks can be used to bring unique atmospheric and emotional qualities to a space and work with technical limitations like the size of walls, location of doors and etc. During the Gallery Walk, our DJ will provide a deep and complex musical soundtrack inspired by Adam Siegel’s art and other cultures including original compositions Adam has created on the piano. Specialty cocktails and food selections will also be provided and inspired by the artist’s work.
